Principal, Exposure Analysis & Coordination (Cybersecurity)

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States

Salary: $96,500–$207,500 annual base salary, plus eligibility for incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead the Exposure Analysis & Coordination function and act as the primary authority for enterprise exposure response.
• Coordinate urgent cybersecurity exposure responses across Information Security, Technology, Risk, Legal, and business stakeholders.
• Establish response procedures, playbooks, escalation criteria, engagement models, and documentation standards.
• Develop executive reporting, performance indicators, and operational metrics for active exposures, remediation, and program maturity.
• Lead post-event reviews and root-cause analysis, translating lessons learned into process, control, governance, and automation improvements.
• Design and implement secure, auditable workflows for exposure intake, validation, evidence collection, tracking, reporting, and closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience.
• 8+ years of relevant IT experience, including at least 6 years in a hands-on information security development role.
• Extensive experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, incident response, security operations, technology risk, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional response or remediation efforts and influencing stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
• Hands-on Python scripting experience for workflow automation, data processing, validation, and operational reporting.
• Experience with JSON, CSV, SQL or Python data libraries, source control, security platforms, ticketing systems, orchestration tools, dashboarding, and generative AI for vulnerability-management use cases.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, ISC2 CISSP, or EWS.
