What you will do
- Design, build, and operate resilient application and traffic management systems for critical production services.
- Develop automation tools for deployment, configuration management, and service reliability.
- Ensure availability and performance through load balancing, network optimization, and failure recovery.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response for high availability and rapid issue resolution.
- Optimize and scale hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with product and security teams to implement privacy and data protection best practices.
- Document and share knowledge to foster continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS
- Experience with high-performance load balancing solutions like HAProxy, Envoy, Traefik.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production.
- Software development and automation skills in Python, Rust, or Go.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across network, application, and system layers.
- Strong security mindset and understanding of secure infrastructure practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with traffic shaping, rate limiting, and DDoS mitigation.
- Expertise in Kubernetes service optimization and management.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with privacy-focused infrastructure challenges and solutions.
