Assistive Technology Consultant – AAC (Speech Pathologist, OT)

Location: Remote role based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, with regular travel to schools and recommenders across the Brisbane area. Candidates should live within approximately one hour's driving distance of Brisbane. Flexibility to work 3–5 days per week. Preferred start date is November 2026, with flexibility to start before December 2026.

What you will do

• Support clinicians and clients during AAC product trials and remote consultation sessions.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clinicians, stakeholders, end users, and caregivers.
• Deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and information events on assistive technology and AAC 2–4 times per month.
• Strengthen hirify.global’s presence across Queensland and interstate.
• Represent the company at conferences, expos, and industry events across Australia.
• Collaborate with clinical and technical support teams to align solutions with user needs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication, including AAC assessments, device recommendations or prescriptions, and funding applications.
• Professional experience in hospitals, schools, private practice, or therapy organisations as a Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist.
• Eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership or current AHPRA registration is required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and autonomous working skills.

• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel are required.
