Senior React Native Developer

Location: Remote in Europe and South America

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable React Native applications for iOS and Android.
• Build reusable components and deliver responsive, performant mobile experiences across devices.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, QA Engineers, and DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, architecture decisions, code reviews, and production troubleshooting.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and engineering workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years of hands-on React Native development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with solid knowledge of React Native architecture, lifecycle, hooks, navigation, and state management.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, publishing and maintaining applications for both iOS and Android, and applying mobile architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile development and distributed remote engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; excellent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Native mobile development experience with Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot, AWS, mobile CI/CD pipelines, or automated testing with Jest, React Native Testing Library, or Detox.
• Experience in workforce management, HR SaaS, scheduling, payroll, fintech, or enterprise SaaS.
• Experience optimizing mobile performance and contributing to technical architecture and engineering standards.
