Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Agrate Brianza, Monza, Italy. On-site field service role with availability for a 4-days-on/4-days-off shift schedule after training and approximately 20% travel for training or support.

Salary: €32,000–€44,000 per year.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and retrofit semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic techniques, digital analytics, software, and process data.
• Manage equipment performance, spare parts, maintenance procedures, checklists, and service timelines.
• Coordinate with customers, company stakeholders, field management, and technical experts to resolve escalations and improve uptime.
• Support site service operations and participate in customer and internal meetings.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering with limited experience or an ITS post-diploma qualification in Factory Automation or Mechatronics.
• Ability to work on-site in Agrate Brianza, Italy and follow a 4-days-on/4-days-off shift schedule after training.
• Availability to travel nationally or internationally for training and team support for approximately 20% of the year.
• Professional communication skills for interacting with colleagues and customers and presenting technical information.
• Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to follow company and customer quality procedures and organize work according to priorities.

Nice to have
