Senior Business Analyst (Bilingual French/English)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work model. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and user stories.
• Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and supporting materials for accurate implementation.
• Bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to align project goals, deliverables, and system functionality.
• Write SQL queries for data analysis and validation, using knowledge of database modeling.
• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, story mapping, and feature prioritization.
• Review test cases, validate implementations, and provide clarification throughout project delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment.
• Strong experience in requirements analysis, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries and database modeling.
• Good understanding of technical architecture and system design.
• English at B2/C1 level and French at C1 level are required.
• Existing legal authorization to work in the European Union is required.

Nice to have

• Experience preparing technical or functional documentation beyond standard requirements.
• Business analysis certification or related training.
• Knowledge of story mapping and test documentation.
