Staff Scientist / Manager (Solution Integration) (Genomics)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of scientists supporting strategic customer engagements across the region.
• Provide leadership for workflow integration, automation, informatics, and LIMS-enabled solutions.
• Coordinate priorities, resources, and execution across commercial, product development, bioinformatics, operations, and customer-facing teams.
• Plan, track, communicate, and oversee customer projects and internal development initiatives in a matrixed organisation.
• Build relationships with customers, collaborators, and key opinion leaders while supporting training and customer engagements.
• Translate regional and customer requirements into product feedback, reference workflows, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Leadership and people management experience in a customer-facing scientific, technical, or product development environment.
• Strong understanding of genomics workflows, including NGS, automation, LIMS, bioinformatics, data analysis, and high-throughput laboratory processes.
• Experience leading complex technical projects and aligning priorities across multiple teams in a matrixed organisation.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience building collaborative relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, and cross-functional teams.
• Typically requires a PhD or equivalent experience in a scientific, engineering, bioinformatics, or related discipline.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of emerging omics applications, including proteomics, epigenetics, and spatial biology.
• Previous experience leading scientific or technical projects, initiatives, or teams.
