Junior Android Developer (Fintech)

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia — Tbilisi, Apakidze Street, 11. Work format: onsite, remote, or hybrid.

Andersen is delivering a mobile banking project for a large international technology organization operating high-load digital infrastructure platforms.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable Android features for a mobile banking application.
• Implement secure transactions, cashback logic, real-time tracking, and financial flows.
• Integrate payment, geolocation, partner, and financial APIs.
• Improve application architecture, performance, stability, security, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain coding standards, monitor analytics, and improve documentation and code quality.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android fundamentals, lifecycle, OOP, and MVVM or MVI architecture.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose or View/XML, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, REST APIs, serialization, and local persistence.
• Familiarity with Room, dependency injection tools such as Hilt, Dagger, or Koin, unit testing, Git, and basic CI/CD.
• Ability to implement well-defined features independently and collaborate with the development team.
• English: Intermediate or higher required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Firebase and Google Analytics for user behavior tracking and feature optimization.
• Experience in fintech, healthcare, retail, telecom, or other complex business domains.
