Product Analyst (Legacy Platform Modernization)

Location: 100% remote for US-based candidates; availability required during core business hours from 8am to 5pm ET.

What you will do

• Support requirements and solutioning workstreams for modernization of a federal client's legacy loan servicing platform.
• Analyze current-state applications, databases, reporting services, integrations, and manual operational processes.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate value stream sessions and requirements workshops.
• Create process maps, customer journey maps, UI wireframes, future-state process flows, and capability assessments.
• Document requirements, business rules, user stories, epics, features, data mappings, reports, and communications in Jira and Confluence.
• Map integrations, dependencies, and data flows; evaluate modernization and decommissioning alternatives; and identify automation opportunities using approved AI-assisted tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent additional experience with an associate degree or high school diploma.
• Experience with requirements elicitation and documentation, current-state analysis, process mapping, and gap analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive challenging work to completion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal loan servicing or benefits-delivery applications and legacy modernization or migration.
• Knowledge of mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, default, foreclosure, claims, MISMO standards, and servicer reporting.
• Experience implementing Salesforce or AWS solutions for the federal government.
• Experience with AI-assisted analysis, requirements, documentation, Jira, or Confluence.
• Existing Public Trust clearance at a federal agency.
