Senior Facility Manager (Data Center)

Location: San Antonio, TX; onsite in a secure data center

What you will do

• Perform maintenance and operations activities for data center and assigned non-data-center spaces.
• Use the CMMS to track maintenance work, labor hours, preventive maintenance orders, and reactive work tickets.
• Respond to building system alarms, prioritize preservation of the critical load, minimize equipment damage, and participate in root cause analysis.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors and support maintenance and project work safely.
• Execute operational modifications, critical switching, lockout/tagout, and safe work-area setup for specialty contractors.
• Provide 24/7 emergency corrective maintenance support, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during severe weather.

Requirements

• Journeyman-level skills in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire, and life-safety disciplines.
• At least 5 years of experience in Tier 2, Tier 3, or Tier 4 data centers, operations and maintenance, or building engineering.
• Knowledge of work order control procedures and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Experience managing subcontractor and vendor contracts, key performance indicators, capacity planning, and reporting.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment alarms through graphical user interfaces, stabilize systems, and use hand tools and test equipment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, customer service, and workload-management skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Visio, AutoCAD, ITIL frameworks, and service-level standards.
• Experience with reflectance, length, and decibel loss measurements in test equipment.
