Frontend Lead (Vue)

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; hybrid working options

What you will do

• Lead the consolidation of frontend development onto Vue 3.
• Define shared frontend architecture, development patterns, and a design system.
• Own and evolve the environment for the frontend stack while promoting SOLID principles, clean code, and testability.
• Evaluate technical costs and benefits and support management with clear technology decisions.
• Coach and align a team of 6–7 frontend engineers with varied seniority and backgrounds.
• Set standards for AI-assisted frontend development using Claude Code and Cursor.

Requirements

• 7+ years of frontend development experience, including at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Proven experience presenting and delivering projects.
• Deep expertise in Vue, ideally Vue 3, and TypeScript.
• Strong skills in frontend architecture, code management, and design systems.
• Practical experience with AI coding tools, including Claude Code and Cursor.
• Fluent English is required.
