Location: Hybrid in Tallinn or Tartu, Estonia; occasional domestic and international travel required.

What you will do
- Build and maintain a high-performing engineering team through coaching, feedback, performance management, and professional development.
- Lead cross-functional delivery with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
- Drive software quality, operational excellence, incident follow-up, and continuous improvement.
- Track metrics, delivery status, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Assess workloads and team capacity while aligning staffing and hiring plans with business priorities.
- Promote engineering standards, scalable solutions, and systems thinking.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, software delivery, or related technical roles.
- Experience leading software engineering teams in an agile or iterative delivery environment.
- Experience with software development lifecycles, delivery planning, stakeholder relationships, and operational excellence.
- Understanding of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, operational practices, and software delivery lifecycles.
- Strong people leadership, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and risk-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
