Head of Managed Services (IT Services)

Sopra Steria provides end-to-end corporate technology, software, consulting, and digital services across Europe. The role is part of Digital Platform Services, which supports core IT platforms across industrial, life sciences, public, and finance sectors.

What you will do

• Own the Managed Services service line, including operational stability, financial performance, service delivery, compliance, capability development, and transformation.
• Translate strategy into tactical roadmaps, drive implementation, remove obstacles, and track measurable outcomes.
• Lead people managers, service delivery managers, and technical professionals supporting an organization of approximately 50 FTE.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, gross margin, capacity, recruitment, certifications, succession planning, bids, transitions, and run pricing.
• Drive standardization, automation, industrialization, continuous improvement, and hybrid nearshore/offshore delivery models.
• Strengthen governance, risk management, audit readiness, security controls, and regulatory compliance, including ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, and emerging CADA requirements.

Requirements

• Significant leadership experience in Managed Services, IT outsourcing, cloud, infrastructure, workplace, application operations, or a similar IT services environment.
• Strong people leadership, stakeholder management, ownership, financial, and commercial skills.
• Experience translating strategy into execution across multiple teams.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, risk, and regulatory compliance.
• Professional fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
• A higher education degree in IT, engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience at an IT integrator or Managed Service Provider.
• Experience working with nearshore and offshore delivery models.
• Knowledge of digital sovereignty, sovereign cloud, automation, and AI-enabled operations.
