Location: Onsite five days a week at a designated facility. The long-term location is Irving/Dallas, Texas, while current project work is based near Peoria, including facilities in Washington and Mossville, Illinois. Travel is approximately 15% for candidates based in the Peoria area and approximately 75% for candidates based in Dallas. Remote work is not available. Relocation to the United States is available.
Salary: $97,530–$158,480 per year.

What you will do
- Integrate autonomous system solutions with excavators, wheel loaders, and articulated trucks.
- Define system requirements and architecture for autonomous machine systems.
- Lead or support system integration, functional testing, validation, and machine demonstrations.
- Triage and troubleshoot issues across autonomy, machine, and validation teams.
- Coordinate work between autonomy development, machine development, and validation teams.
- Document architecture, design decisions, requirements, success criteria, readiness, and technical risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience as a systems engineer supporting software and hardware product development.
- Experience collaborating with systems integration and validation teams.
- Knowledge of autonomous systems and hardware, including cameras, lidar, radar, GNSS, and IMU.
- Knowledge of on-machine electrical systems, harnessing, wiring, CAN, Ethernet, and ROS2.
- Ability to work onsite full time at a facility; remote work is not available.
Nice to have
- Experience in the construction or mining industry.
- Knowledge of wheel loaders, excavators, and articulated trucks.
- Experience with autonomy ecosystem or autonomous control-system architectures.
