PS Senior SW Engineer (.NET/Java)

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain high-quality software, promoting reusable components and ease of support.
• Analyze, design, and implement mechanisms that improve code stability, performance, and reusability.
• Diagnose software defects and system failures, implement remedies, and apply debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
• Develop and test web applications and services, conduct unit testing, track issues, and ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met.
• Participate in Agile Scrum planning, estimation, code reviews, process improvements, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Travel to customer sites when required, usually for no longer than one week at a time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software design and development, including 5+ years with .NET/C# or Java.
• Experience with client- and server-side web development.
• Understanding of design patterns, system design, object-oriented design, UML, software development, and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, initiative, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, React, or an equivalent frontend framework.
• NodeJS, ASP MVC .NET, Java Spring, Python Flask, or another web-services framework.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, unit-testing frameworks, and mission-critical, event-driven, fault-tolerant systems.
• Jira, GitHub, Confluence, Agile development, and Scrum experience.
