Senior Java Developer (Fintech)

Location: Ypsonas, Cyprus; relocation bonus and visa/work permit support are available.

What you will do

• Develop and support high-load, low-latency trading platforms and related microservices.
• Design and implement features for real-time price aggregation, order execution, liquidity connectivity, and exposure and risk management.
• Apply company standards for code quality, test coverage, performance, TDD, and BDD.
• Identify and report vulnerabilities, technical issues, and potential problems in the codebase.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, business analysts, and other teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Java development experience with Java 21+ and Spring or Spring Boot.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related IT discipline.
• Experience with microservices, Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, SQL databases, PostgreSQL, and Hibernate.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, task decomposition, implementation, and testing.
• Experience with TCP/IP network programming, including HTTP and gRPC.
• English at B2 level or above is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Russian.
• FinTech experience in trading, Forex, or investments.

Hiring process
