Senior MLOps Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid/remote with an office visit once a month in Warsaw, Kraków, or the Tricity area, Poland.

Salary: 1100–1600 PLN per MD; B2B rate also listed as 120–180 PLN/month.

What you will do

• Build and operate production-grade MLOps and model-serving infrastructure for a new fintech initiative.
• Develop machine learning workflows using Python, Databricks, Apache Airflow, and MLflow.
• Implement A/B testing, shadow deployments, and advanced release strategies for ML models.
• Design streaming, CDC, event-driven, highly available, scalable, and resilient distributed systems.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, cloud cost optimization, and FinOps practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams on solutions supporting payments and financial products.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in MLOps engineering or closely related platform engineering roles.
• 2+ years of experience designing and operating production model-serving infrastructure.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Airflow, Kubernetes, and MLflow.
• Experience with streaming platforms, CDC architectures, Infrastructure as Code, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
• Understanding of machine learning lifecycle management, production ML operations, cloud cost optimization, and FinOps.
• Fluent English communication skills and the ability to work across engineering and data teams.
