IP / Datacom Engineer

What you will do

• Implement Datacom projects and provide technical control of suppliers and partners.
• Resolve technical issues affecting active projects, deployed devices, and maintenance services.
• Design high-level and low-level solutions for Datacom projects and customer networks.
• Communicate with customers about technical issues and network solutions while supporting project managers.
• Establish maintenance routines and handle product changes, technical issues, and correction releases in a timely manner.
• Maintain current product and technical knowledge through continuous self-learning.

Requirements

• Degree in telecommunications and more than 3 years of experience operating routers and switches.
• Knowledge of OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, L3VPN, L2VPN, NAT, and MSTP; CCNA or CCNP certification is preferred.
• Experience designing solutions for large networks and translating project requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with telecommunications standards and specifications, including ITU-T and ETSI.
• More than 6 years of professional experience and willingness to work occasional night shifts during SWAP and cutover activities.
