Manager, Product Owner – AI/ML & Market Insights (AI/ML and derivatives exchange): Developing machine learning and generative AI products for liquidity insights, market research, sales intelligence, and marketing automation with an accent on stakeholder alignment, product roadmaps, and financial-market analytics. Focus on decomposing complex AI/ML features, managing Agile backlogs and ceremonies, tracking model and business performance, and ensuring explainability and regulatory compliance.
Location: Chicago, 20 S. Wacker
Salary: $81,100–$135,100 annually, plus target bonus and equity opportunity.

What you will do
- Translate business goals from sales, research, marketing, and other departments into a unified AI/ML product roadmap.
- Develop predictive client-intelligence models, cross-selling insights, volume forecasts, liquidity analytics, volatility models, and market-microstructure features.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to assess feasibility and maintain high-quality, low-latency production data pipelines.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, decompose AI/ML features into user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
- Lead Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and participate in PI Planning.
- Track model performance and business impact while ensuring AI outputs are explainable and compliant with financial regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Product Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, preferably delivering technical or AI/ML solutions in capital markets, derivatives exchanges, or fintech.
- Foundational knowledge of futures, options, market liquidity, and order book mechanics.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including data collection, training, deployment, and drift monitoring.
- Ability to query data using SQL basics and translate between data science teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong Agile understanding; SAFe experience is preferred. An accredited AI/ML credential is strongly recommended on application and required shortly after hire.

- SAFe POPM or CSPO certification.
- AI/ML credentials such as Google Cloud PMLE, Generative AI Leader, Google Cloud Skill Badges, or Google AI Essentials.
