Associate Systems Engineer, V&V (Medical Devices)

Location: US - Massachusetts; hybrid work with required on-site work from an hirify.global office

Annual base salary: $66,500–$99,800; incentive compensation may also apply.

hirify.global develops medical devices for diabetes management, including the Omnipod insulin delivery platform and related drug-delivery technologies.

What you will do

• Develop detailed test cases and protocols for design verification with Systems Engineering and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Execute verification and validation activities according to established timelines.
• Develop verification and validation test tools.
• Write test reports and log issues identified during verification activities.
• Author product issue records and process them through closure.
• Participate in technical and design reviews and support other Systems Engineering activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, software engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Working knowledge of engineering principles and scientific methods.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and procedures.
• Ability to generate and maintain accurate records.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira, Helix, or Confluence.
• Previous experience in medical device or similarly regulated environments.
