Clinical Research Nurse (Ophthalmology)

Location: Anniston, Alabama, United States. On-site schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM, with optional weekends and overnights.

What you will do

• Coordinate and conduct patient visits for ophthalmology clinical trials according to study protocols.
• Perform vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection and processing, and phlebotomy as applicable.
• Obtain and document informed consent while educating participants throughout the study.
• Monitor participant safety, report adverse events, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Complete source documentation and EDC data entry, resolve data queries, and maintain data integrity.
• Support investigational product accountability, monitoring visits, audits, inspections, and efficient visit flow.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Current LPN or RN licensure.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, ICH/GCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EDC, and CTMS applications.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, multitasking, and patient-facing skills.
• Commitment to professionalism, patient confidentiality, and collaborative work.

• Previous clinical research experience.
