Quality Control Specialist I (Contractor) (NGS)

What you will do

• Perform reagent quality control testing according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Author, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, QC Records, and Forms.
• Initiate non-conformances and investigate reagent and consumable quality issues.
• Record, analyze, and trend QC data using good documentation practices.
• Support technology transfer and validation of QC test methods to GMP standards.
• Maintain knowledge of laboratory operations and quality control regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, or a similar field.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Ability to complete accurate and timely documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining routine laboratory equipment.
• Hands-on experience with automated liquid handlers such as Hamilton or Bravo.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
