Senior Lead, Software Engineering Specialist Workday Benefits (Workday): Designing, configuring, testing, and deploying scalable Workday Benefits solutions for global business requirements with an accent on benefits administration, payroll impacts, production support, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on translating business requirements into sustainable configurations, assessing end-to-end Hire-to-Retire impacts, and supporting multi-country Workday environments.

What you will do
- Design, configure, test, and deploy Workday Benefits solutions using Workday as the system of record.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, supportable configurations and advise on best practices.
- Support production Workday environments, troubleshoot issues, and implement configuration changes in live systems.
- Assess downstream impacts across Benefits, Payroll, Time and Absence, and the wider Hire-to-Retire lifecycle.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, integration partners, and technical teams to deliver accurate and compliant solutions.
- Manage competing priorities independently and drive solutions through completion with limited oversight.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience with deep Benefits expertise.
- Experience independently delivering Workday configuration solutions from requirements through deployment.
- Strong understanding of Benefits and payroll-related business processes, including downstream impacts.
- Experience supporting global or multi-country Workday deployments and production environments.
- Knowledge of Workday business process frameworks, security considerations, and reporting impacts related to Time and Absence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in an enterprise, cross-functional environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, or Projects in Workday.
- Experience working in a matrixed or global team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, HRIS, or a related field.
