Senior Revenue Accountant

Location: Remote

Salary: $72,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyze customer contracts and determine revenue recognition treatment under GAAP and ASC 606.
• Complete revenue recognition analyses, including multi-element revenue allocations, and create revenue schedules for ledger postings.
• Review the work of Revenue Accountants, including contract checklists, revenue schedules, analyses, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support month-end close activities, including revenue postings, journal entries, account reconciliations, and budget-to-actual variance reviews.
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and contribute to process improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Billing and other internal stakeholders to maintain compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of applicable experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPA certification required.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition, particularly for SaaS, and working knowledge of ASC 606.
• Experience reviewing customer contracts and strong Excel proficiency.
• Ability to communicate effectively, make independent decisions, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a business environment.
