Principal Data Architect (AWS/AI)

Location: Argentina; 100% remote. Current legal authorization to work in Argentina is required. The role may require up to 25% travel depending on business needs.

What you will do

• Define strategic roadmaps and targeted outcomes for customers in a consultative capacity.
• Serve as a data engineering subject-matter expert for upcoming customer engagements and collaborate with pre-sales teams.
• Lead the design and implementation of complex cloud-based data solutions.
• Conduct technical interviews for Architect and Engineer candidates.
• Provide technical guidance to Architects and Engineers.
• Oversee the development and implementation of data standards and operating procedures.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience designing and building complex data systems.
• At least 4 years of experience working with the AWS data landscape.
• Experience in at least two traditional data areas, such as relational database design, data modeling, BI visualization, data governance, or MDM.
• Experience in at least two newer data areas, such as Spark and streaming, NoSQL, machine learning and MLOps with SageMaker, generative AI and Bedrock, or DataOps.
• Experience with at least two of the following: Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, or Python for analytics and automation.
• Strong commitment to standardization and documentation, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
