Product Designer - Visual Craft & AI

What you will do

• Design creative tools and interactive product experiences for finding, generating and refining project assets.
• Prototype workflows such as saving character references, arranging video clips and explaining AI capabilities through motion, imagery and interaction.
• Develop promising concepts into experiences that reach customers as part of the core product.
• Share unfinished work, test ideas with customers and adapt designs based on what you learn.
• Collaborate with experienced designers and engineers to frame problems, test ideas and deliver product work.

Requirements

• Exceptional visual craft across typography, composition, hierarchy, motion and interaction.
• Experience using AI to explore and build working experiences.
• Curiosity about the people using the product and willingness to test ideas in the wild.
• A portfolio or examples of something built with AI, such as a finished product, prototype, website or interactive tool.
• Work samples may come from university, client work, freelance projects or independent experiments.
• Ability to work remotely from Australia or New Zealand.
