Integrated Solution Leader – Future Fighter Lead-In Trainer (FFLIT)

Location: Hybrid work model in Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada; international travel of up to 20% required.

What you will do

• Lead the definition and development of integrated training solutions from early customer engagement through capture, proposal, and contract award.
• Serve as the primary contact for training solution matters with customers, end users, internal stakeholders, and industry partners.
• Define training programs covering individual, team, and collective requirements across academic, synthetic, simulation-based, and Live-Virtual-Constructive environments.
• Direct training task, needs, media, and curriculum analysis with technical leads, learning specialists, subject matter experts, and customers.
• Integrate technologies, standard products, and subcontractor capabilities while supporting make-buy analysis, partner selection, workshare planning, and offsets.
• Lead solution reviews, cost estimation, risk assessment, and mitigation activities for large Training System Integration opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of industry and/or military experience, including at least 10 years developing or delivering operational or maintenance training programs in the defense sector.
• Previous aircrew experience within the Canadian Armed Forces or a NATO member nation.
• Experience leading large-scale training development, training integration, engineering, or other complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of training system development principles, integrated training solutions, and systems engineering processes.
• Experience supporting capture strategies and proposal development, with strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Canadian and/or NATO Secret Security Clearances.

Nice to have

• Aircrew instructor, fighter aircraft, or fighter lead-in training experience in Canadian or NATO environments.
• Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force training, Canadian defense procurement, and military weapons range operations.
• Knowledge of electronic warfare threats, target replication, air-to-air range infrastructure, and Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation.
• Experience with military flight safety, airworthiness, flight operations, maintenance repair organizations, or modeling and simulation systems.
• University degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
