Location: Munich, Germany; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work

What you will do

• Explore and evaluate state-of-the-art machine learning and neural network optimization techniques.
• Contribute to compression algorithms that improve AI inference performance and model efficiency.
• Develop the Neural Network Compression Framework within the OpenVINO organization.
• Work with PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenVINO, and modern neural network architectures.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and researchers while gaining exposure to hirify.global hardware platforms and AI software ecosystems.
• Contribute to open-source and production-ready AI software.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Currently in the third year or above of an undergraduate degree.
• Programming experience in Python.
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Interest in artificial hirify.globalligence, deep learning, and software engineering.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of machine learning or deep learning concepts.
• Understanding of computer vision or image processing.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or OpenVINO.
• Curiosity, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn.
