What you will do
- Lead localization and translation strategy for e-commerce platforms and travel services in Traditional Chinese for the Hong Kong market.
- Establish linguistic guidelines, style guides, and glossaries to maintain brand voice and quality.
- Perform professional in-house translation, editing, and proofreading for critical business lines.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and digital marketing teams on feature rollouts for Hong Kong.
- Manage translation workflows, timelines, and coordination with external vendors or junior linguists.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of full-time, in-house experience as a professional translator.
- Native-level fluency in Traditional Chinese for Hong Kong.
- Professional business fluency in English.
- Degree in translation, English linguistics, or a closely related language field is highly preferred.
- Experience in or strong understanding of e-commerce, technology, or travel and hospitality.
