Senior Director Business Intelligence, Insights, and Reporting (Retail)

What you will do

• Develop and execute the enterprise business intelligence, insights, and reporting strategy and roadmap.
• Advise executive leadership by translating complex data into trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Lead the design and delivery of executive dashboards, operational reporting, self-service analytics, scorecards, and recurring business reviews.
• Own the enterprise data warehouse, BI platforms, ETL and data integration processes, data quality, governance, security, and performance.
• Build and lead teams across BI development, reporting, visualization, data engineering, analytics, and production support.
• Manage the BI demand portfolio, prioritize delivery, communicate tradeoffs, and drive adoption through training and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, data engineering, or a related discipline, including leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience in a retail environment and knowledge of retail operations and performance measures.
• Experience delivering executive dashboards, reporting, insights, and presentations that turn complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data warehouses, dimensional modeling, data architecture, SQL, ETL or ELT, data integration, metadata, data quality, and production support.
• Experience leading modern BI and visualization platforms, self-service reporting, governed semantic models, and enterprise reporting environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, data and analytics, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
