Frontend Developer (iGaming)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid work combining home and office work

What you will do

• Develop clean, efficient, reusable code for online slot games and shared game modules using Haxe and in-house technologies.
• Turn game concepts and creative designs into responsive, polished player experiences.
• Build game features and behaviors that work reliably across supported devices and platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers, game designers, artists, animators, and sound designers.
• Use the in-house runtime and domain-specific language to implement and integrate game functionality.
• Test, troubleshoot, review, and improve the game client codebase, tools, and development workflow.

Requirements

• Professional experience with TypeScript and JavaScript and modern frontend development principles.
• Experience developing frontend applications or interactive user experiences with attention to quality, responsiveness, and performance.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code and apply software development best practices.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles, performance considerations, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.
• Experience with source control and collaborative workflows such as Git and code reviews.
• Strong communication, teamwork, ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Haxe or similar cross-platform technologies.
• Previous experience in browser-based, online, casino, or slot game development.
• Experience with 2D graphics, animation, rendering technologies, game engines, interactive frameworks, or custom runtimes.
• Familiarity with Spine 2D, Adobe Animate, or Photoshop.
