Junior QC Specialist - Networking Testing (Online Requirements Team) (Gaming)

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine; hybrid work with office attendance required several days per week

What you will do

• Execute and coordinate networking tests for online games, including NAT traversal, NAT interoperability, and behavior under varied network conditions.
• Operate multiple platforms and troubleshoot test platforms and networking tools.
• Investigate, reproduce, report, and track project issues while finding workarounds for production teams.
• Plan and coordinate test passes, assess project risks, and ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Communicate project status, quality findings, and required information to production, QC, and online requirements stakeholders.
• Create project documentation and reports and improve testing tools, procedures, and personal skills.

Requirements

• English: Upper-intermediate level or higher, spoken and written.
• Understanding of the software release life cycle and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of network addresses, protocols, and network parameters.
• Knowledge of packet sniffers, Cisco devices, and Linux exposure or awareness.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, time management, prioritization, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work from the office several days per week.

Nice to have

• Mentorship or task coordination experience.
• Experience creating or adjusting test cases.
• Hands-on experience with several platforms.
