TL;DR
Junior Strong / Intermediate Quality Control Engineer (Web Testing): Designing and executing manual tests for an internal web platform with an accent on functional, regression, integration, and UI testing. Focus on validating system integrations, tracking defects, improving test coverage, and supporting reliable releases.

Location: Ukraine; remote or office work format.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for web applications.
  • Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
  • Validate integrations between the internal platform and other systems and services.
  • Document, track, reproduce, prioritize, and verify defect fixes with developers.
  • Review requirements, provide QA input during planning and design, and improve test documentation and coverage.
  • Participate in release testing and support low-risk deployments.

Requirements

  • 1.5+ years of experience in manual QA testing of web applications.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Experience testing integrations between systems or services; API testing exposure is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking and test-management tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Basic understanding of client-server architecture, HTTP, and web application principles.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication skills, and English sufficient for daily written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

  • Basic SQL skills for data validation.
