TL;DR
Crisis & Resilience Specialist (Crisis Management/Operational Resilience): Supporting crisis management operations, incident response, resilience planning, exercises, governance, and crisis management platforms with an accent on coordinating complex disruptions, maintaining operational documentation, and strengthening organisational preparedness. Focus on facilitating simulations, responding to real-world incidents, producing management information, and improving resilience programmes across business units.

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia. Hybrid work with an expectation of being in the office at least three days per week.

Base salary: EUR 2,000–3,400 per month for a full-time role, with potential performance-based rewards and benefits.

What you will do

  • Coordinate training, onboarding, and awareness activities for crisis, emergency, and incident response teams.
  • Develop and maintain incident management plans, crisis documentation, contact information, and governance records.
  • Plan and facilitate crisis management and operational resilience exercises, including stakeholder coordination, logistics, troubleshooting, and follow-up actions.
  • Support real-world incident and crisis response through invocation, coordination, logging, situational awareness, and reporting.
  • Administer crisis management tools and platforms, including user onboarding, access management, testing, reporting, and data maintenance.
  • Support programme governance, management reporting, regulatory and audit activities, OKR tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in crisis and incident management, operational resilience, business continuity, project management, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating crisis management or resilience simulations and tabletop exercises.
  • Experience responding to complex real-world incidents or crises and coordinating cross-functional programmes, projects, or governance activities.
  • Strong organisational, planning, communication, prioritisation, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint, as well as experience preparing dashboards and management information.
  • Fluent English and willingness to participate in on-call and out-of-hours incident and crisis response when required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in reinsurance, insurance, financial services, or management consulting.
  • Professional certification in crisis management, business continuity, operational resilience, or project management.
  • Knowledge of crisis management platforms such as Webex, AlertMedia, or Riskonnect.
  • Experience with Power BI, Agile project management, or tools such as Viva Goals and WorkBoard.
  • Understanding of governance, audit, risk, or regulatory requirements.
