Mechanic Lead (Pumps)

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Disassemble, assemble, clean, inspect, align, and reassemble large and small pumps of various sizes and orientations.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Test machinery after repairs to verify functionality and performance.
• Maintain work orders, parts usage records, and equipment history.
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and supervisors to improve reliability and minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Quality, Production, or a related field.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical failures.
• Knowledge of equipment assembly, disassembly, and alignment.
• Experience with industrial machinery, pumps, compressors, motors, gear reducers, or other rotating equipment.
• Ability to follow quality requirements and safety regulations.
