TL;DR
Technical Support Engineer (Semiconductor): Maintaining, repairing, upgrading, and continuously improving ASML systems at customer locations with an accent on complex equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting, and second-line technical support. Focus on executing repairs and maintenance procedures, handing over technical problems, training first-line engineers and customers, and identifying process improvements.

What you will do
- Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex equipment problems through telephone support and at customer sites.
- Perform installations, repairs, retrofits, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and other complex procedures on systems.
- Gather diagnostic information, document findings, and hand over relevant problems to senior technical engineers or third-line support.
- Advise customer technical personnel and first-line support, replace parts, adjust settings, and resolve unexpected equipment disturbances.
- Train first-line engineers and customers on routine and non-routine equipment maintenance.
- Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities, and share technical knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
- BS degree in a relevant technical field, such as electrical technology, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering, or a comparable working and thinking level.
- Specialized knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, or electronics, semiconductor processes, and relevant software.
- Knowledge of the functionality of main product modules and the primary competency or subsystem.
- Experience using computer applications, including data analysis, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools.
- Semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to access technology controlled under the United States Export Administration Regulations before starting work.
