What you will do
- Research and implement computer vision approaches for 3D object tracking across multiple modalities and scenarios.
- Combine classical, geometrical, and in-house AI detection methods to develop robust tracking pipelines.
- Fuse camera, IMU, radar, and other sensor data for high-precision target estimation.
- Optimize and deploy tracking algorithms on heterogeneous, compute-constrained edge platforms for real-time drone performance.
- Collaborate with the GNC, Sensor Fusion, and AI teams to integrate production-ready systems.
- Track scientific developments, introduce advanced methodologies, and mentor junior engineers when appropriate.
Requirements
- Degree in a STEM discipline such as computer science, robotics, engineering, or mathematics.
- Experience researching, developing, and productizing computer vision and sensor-fusion algorithms in hardware-constrained environments.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for real-time systems.
- Experience optimizing code for edge deployment and limited-compute platforms.
- Structured, analytical, research-oriented approach with strong communication and influence skills.
- Ability to explain complex algorithmic trade-offs and operate effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
