Senior Software Engineer - Perception (C++/Python)

What you will do

• Build, optimize, and scale real-time software engines for high-throughput 3D LiDAR data.
• Work with the Algo Team on perception logic and deliver production-ready software.
• Deploy and scale perception pipelines with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud managed services.
• Profile memory, CPU utilization, and execution paths across edge devices and containerized environments.
• Develop Python-based internal tools, scripts, and test harnesses.
• Integrate GenAI capabilities, including LLMs, Claude, and AI agents, into developer workflows and testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on C++ and high-performance systems.
• Strong command of C++ and Python.
• Deep knowledge of Linux; workstation must use macOS or Ubuntu Linux.
• Working knowledge of and interest in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud managed services.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams and own topics from architecture through production deployment.
• Interest in AI engineering, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and Claude or OpenAI APIs.
