TL;DR
Business Intelligence Engineer (Junior) (AI/Gamedev): Building and maintaining the telemetry, data quality, and reporting foundation for a game studio with an accent on SQL, BigQuery, data modeling, and dashboard governance. Focus on designing scalable tracking architecture, integrating data from multiple sources, and developing AI workflows and ML pipelines in collaboration with game, product, and technical teams.
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Hybrid work model with 2 days working from home each week.

What you will do
- Design, build, and optimize the studio's telemetry, reporting, and data quality foundation.
- Develop scalable tracking architecture and maintain reliable dashboards for data-driven decisions.
- Collect, clean, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources into unified databases.
- Collaborate with Data & BI, game, product, engineering, and infrastructure teams on schemas, integrations, and tracking requirements.
- Design and optimize AI workflows and ML pipelines, including data collection, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Research and productionize AI technologies across computer vision, generative AI, conversational AI, and AI-driven gameplay experiences.
Requirements
- Hands-on SQL experience with Google BigQuery.
- High proficiency in Metabase and Looker or comparable BI and visualization tools.
- Knowledge of database architecture, schema design, data warehousing, and normalization/denormalization.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Node for scripting, automation, and data processing.
- Understanding of data quality, telemetry/tracking, and dashboard governance.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, ownership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
