Senior Product Owner (Insurance)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work arrangement

Base salary: €3,300–€5,400 per month for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do

• Define platform vision, develop new features, and continuously improve the product in line with business goals.
• Work with subject-matter experts to capture business requirements and identify digital transformation opportunities.
• Plan releases, prioritize features, maintain the product backlog, and maximize product business value.
• Communicate priorities, sprint goals, acceptance criteria, and user stories to the agile team.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, inspect sprint outcomes, and accept or reject completed work.
• Support production incidents, UAT planning, defect triage, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, computer science, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience delivering projects from inception to completion as a Product Owner using Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of project management principles, tools, and techniques.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, planning, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to meet tight schedules and maintain clear customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as ADO and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience with claims systems, business operations, or claims handling.
• Insurance industry experience in projects or programs involving significant change impact and multiple dependencies.
