Senior Engineer - Manufacturing (Medtech)

Location: Kaunas, Lithuania

Salary: €2,800–€4,100 gross per month, based on competencies and work experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes, equipment, and production layouts.
• Lead prototyping, testing, validation, commissioning, and implementation of process changes.
• Prepare, review, and approve manufacturing drawings, process specifications, work instructions, and performance data.
• Analyze production data and collaborate with operators to identify process, productivity, waste, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, support budgeting and capacity planning, and maintain MRP and BOM data.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, suppliers, and quality teams while providing technical guidance and training to production teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of related experience.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and value-stream mapping.
• Working knowledge of MRP systems, BOM structures, and ERP tools.
• Experience with CAD systems and automation or PLC-controlled equipment.
• Strong project management, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
