Software Engineering Manager (Mobile & Backend)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage 10+ engineers across Android, iOS, and backend disciplines.
• Own technical direction across mobile and backend architecture, API design, service scalability, and end-to-end integration.
• Contribute to codebases, conduct code reviews, and maintain hands-on technical depth.
• Drive mobile performance, stability, crash-free rates, release management, and App Store and Play Store delivery.
• Design and oversee secure, highly available backend services and payment APIs.
• Coordinate delivery across squads while improving engineering standards, testing, CI/CD, and developer productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in engineering management.
• Experience directly managing teams of 10 or more engineers across mobile and backend disciplines.
• Strong native mobile development experience with working knowledge of Android and iOS.
• Expertise in high-performance concurrent backend applications, distributed systems, microservices, API design, and parallel processing.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability tooling, product metrics, and the OKR framework.

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang, Flutter, or React Native.
• Background in fintech, payments, or highly regulated and high-security environments.
