What you will do

• Lead, perform, and support the planning, fieldwork, and reporting of internal audit engagements.
• Develop and maintain risk assessments, consolidated audit plans, and audit strategies for assigned portfolios and business functions.
• Track and escalate significant unresolved audit issues and findings.
• Conduct advisory engagements, special projects, and cross-functional or cross-country audits.
• Build relationships with business units, internal audit stakeholders, and first- and second-line teams to assess strategy, products, performance, and risks.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and knowledge sharing to audit team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an internal or external auditor or financial services provider, including risk audits or reviews in retail banking and/or wealth management.
• Knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory requirements and international standards for retail banking and wealth management.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and independent working skills.
• Professional audit certification such as CPA or CIA equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in retail banking, wealth management, AML, or data analytics is advantageous.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required.
