Finance Business Partner, Korea (Growth & Strategy) (finance and integrated business planning): Managing commercial finance, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and IBP for Fonterra’s Korean entities with an accent on financial performance, process optimisation, and strategic decision support. Focus on consolidating business plans, leveraging AI and analytics, coordinating operational buying in SAP and Ariba, and developing a Finance Analyst.
Location: Seoul, South Korea; hybrid workplace

What you will do
- Manage finance and accounting activities for ’s Korea entities, including reporting, cash management, tax filings, invoicing, budgets, and audits.
- Lead forecasting, annual budgeting, business planning, variance analysis, and performance consolidation for Korea and the Growth & Strategy region.
- Provide commercial insights and coaching to improve financial performance and reduce cost and complexity.
- Optimise finance processes using AI, analytics tools, the organisation’s data hub, and the evolving shared-service model.
- Lead the Integrated Business Planning process across business development, demand, supply, people, inventory, and financial plans.
- Supervise and develop a Finance Analyst and coordinate operational purchasing through SAP and Ariba.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of commercial finance experience, ideally in a multinational or complex commercial environment.
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; a bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
- Strong capabilities in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and commercial insight.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of SAP is preferred and Ariba experience is advantageous.
- Professional proficiency in English and Korean is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and explain financial information clearly.
