TL;DR
DevOps Engineer (Banking): Designing, automating, and supporting applications and infrastructure for a Single Payment Engine in a cross-functional Agile squad with an accent on Azure DevOps, Linux and Windows operations, CI/CD automation, security, and observability. Focus on automating deployments and rollbacks, investigating incidents and system capacity, managing vulnerabilities and compliance, and delivering scalable banking solutions.
Location: Manila, One Ayala Tower 2, Philippines

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and decommission applications as part of a cross-functional Scrum squad.
- Automate testing, deployment, provisioning, configuration, and rollback processes across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Run and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and use Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Support Linux and Windows environments, including RHEL, IIS, .NET, SQL, Event Logs, and infrastructure capacity management.
- Manage observability KPIs and SLIs, vulnerability scans, security integration, IT risks, and technical compliance.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, post-mortem analysis, and collaboration with distributed teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant IT experience with platforms and CI/CD frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of DevOps operations, Git, Azure DevOps or similar platforms, Ansible, and cloud and on-premises automation.
- Solid understanding of Linux, preferably RHEL 8 or higher, and Windows environments.
- Experience with SQL and PL/SQL, scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Golang, and messaging platforms such as MQ or Kafka.
- Knowledge of observability tools, security integration, ITGC controls, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree, analytical skills, ownership, collaboration, adaptability, and experience working in an Agile environment.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Finacle scripting, including IS and CT scripts.
- Fundamentals of a programming language.
- Knowledge of core banking services and related financial services.
