Location: Filton, Bristol, United Kingdom. The four-year-and-three-month apprenticeship starts in September 2027 and requires current legal authorisation to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme.

Salary: £23,245 per year.

What you will do

  • Complete a nine-month vocational foundation diploma before joining engineering placements in Filton.
  • Support scheduled maintenance programmes with the Design Office, customers, and aviation authorities.
  • Develop and support service bulletin retrofit solutions and in-service aircraft modifications.
  • Design, test, validate, and support ground support equipment and aircraft maintenance tooling.
  • Produce approved maintenance procedures and parts catalogue data supporting continued airworthiness.
  • Resolve technical issues for repairs and coordinate with procurement, production, logistics, quality, suppliers, and customers.

Requirements

  • 112 UCAS points or equivalent qualifications, including the specified A-level, BTEC Extended Diploma, or T Level criteria.
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 5/B or above.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic engineering environment.
  • Ability to manage problems and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for aerospace and the sustainable future of civil aviation.
  • Current UK work authorisation for the full apprenticeship duration and eligibility for levy funding.

Nice to have

  • Additional Level 3 Maths qualification alongside an Engineering and Manufacturing T Level.
  • Relevant academic projects, hobbies, extracurricular activities, or practical engineering experience.
