Field Solutions Engineer (Aerospace & AI)

Location: US Remote, with frequent travel to customer sites and conferences across the US, up to 50% of the time; engagements may include longer-term on-site collaboration.

What you will do

• Own technical components of strategic customer and partner engagements and deliver against defined project outcomes.
• Build hirify.global workflows, design automation, proofs of concept, and headless or batch executions for DOE, parameter sweeps, and surrogate-model training data.
• Develop Python tooling and integrations connecting hirify.global with CAD, FEA/CFD, MDO, PLM, and agentic engineering toolchains.
• Shape end-to-end architectures connecting geometry, simulation, data, compute, and AI agents, and help transition proofs of concept into production.
• Support technical sales through discovery, demonstrations, and tailored proof-of-concept development.
• Lead solution reviews, scoping calls, and workflow consultations for customer teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, computational engineering, or a related discipline, plus 3+ years of industry experience; relevant doctoral experience may substitute.
• Working knowledge of aerospace design and analysis tools, including at least one parametric CAD, FEA, CFD, MDO, conceptual design, or PLM toolchain.
• Professional Python scripting experience, including tools or integrations used by other engineers.
• Familiarity with scientific Python, LLM APIs, agent frameworks, tool-calling protocols such as MCP, or an ML framework.
• Strong systems thinking, communication, presentation, autonomy, and responsibility on time-sensitive technical projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently, up to 50% or more.

Nice to have

• Aircraft conceptual or preliminary design experience, including aerostructures, propulsion integration, vehicle-level sizing, or MDO.
• hirify.global software or hirify.global automation experience.
• GPU-accelerated simulation, cloud or HPC orchestration, or physics-ML framework experience.
• Experience building agentic systems, MCP servers, or workflow orchestration around engineering software.
• Aerospace and defense programs, digital engineering, security clearance or eligibility, and experience with GTM or SaaS teams.
