is hiring for a finance role supporting cost accounting and plant operations in Costa Rica.
What you will do
- Manage cost accounting activities and analyze variable and fixed production costs.
- Prepare and periodically review budgets and financial information for operational and strategic decisions.
- Perform monthly inventory valuation, inventory closing, and physical inventory control activities.
- Assess production efficiency and analyze expenses, productive hours, and related operational data.
- Audit internal control procedures, develop internal standards and process manuals, and coordinate with external auditors.
- Monitor compliance with TL 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, 6S, Lean, and Sigma SOS requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience, including accounting experience.
- Experience working with large datasets and advanced Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables.
- Knowledge of costing and inventory methods, including average, FIFO, and standard costing.
- Experience with commodity hedging, industrial controls, physical inventory controls, and SAP.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, leadership, and follow-up skills.
Nice to have
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- SAP or Business Warehouse experience.
- Basic to advanced English proficiency.
