Fraud & Disputes Intern (Fintech)

Location: Remote in Colombia; full-time availability required Monday through Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm Central Time.

Salary: 2,800,000 COP monthly for the paid internship.

What you will do

• Investigate disputed credit card, debit card, and ACH transactions and resolve cases within required timeframes.
• Work with fraud, disputes, and other departments to determine appropriate actions on individual cases.
• Analyze transactions, account patterns, and internal data to identify fraud trends and potential losses.
• Maintain service-level targets for queued cases and handle internal and external escalations professionally.
• Collaborate with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists, and engineers to improve loss prevention processes, tools, and mechanisms.
• Use Claude or equivalent large language model tools for productivity, research, and communication.

Requirements

• Experience analyzing data and making effective decisions in fast-paced, ambiguous situations.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, problem-solving, analytical, business judgment, and communication skills.
• Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision after training.
• Availability for full-time work Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Central Time.
• Must be located in Colombia for the remote role.
• Experience with Claude or an equivalent large language model tool is required.
