Senior Manager of Global Communications (Retail)

Location: London, England, United Kingdom

Base salary: £81,000–£100,000 GBP per year; bonus and equity may be available for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Lead and execute hirify.global's UK communications strategy as the brand scales in the market.
• Build and manage relationships with UK national, consumer, fashion, lifestyle, retail, business, and technology media.
• Develop proactive earned-media campaigns and culturally relevant UK story angles.
• Lead communications for UK launches, campaigns, milestones, and reputation-risk situations.
• Write and edit pitches, press materials, and executive briefings, and prepare spokespeople for UK media.
• Partner with Brand, Social, Growth, Merchandising, and Creative teams, manage UK agency partners, and build earned-media measurement systems and playbooks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or media strategy, including significant experience in the UK market.
• Deep, current relationships across UK media and a strong understanding of the UK media ecosystem.
• Experience building the reputation of a consumer brand, retailer, or high-growth company.
• Exceptional writing, editing, editorial judgment, and reputation-communications skills.
• Strong understanding of UK culture, consumer sentiment, and the differences between UK and US communications.
• Experience managing PR agencies and collaborating across global and cross-functional teams with significant autonomy.
